Welcome to the podcast, where we explore my approach and rationale for anxiety treatment.

We all experience a whirlwind of thoughts every day. Some demand our attention, while others slip by unnoticed. But it’s hard to ignore when our bodies start sending us anxious signals—like a racing heart or that sweaty feeling for no apparent reason. It’s natural to want to understand what’s going on and to make those anxious sensations vanish. However, this instinct can often backfire and keep anxiety alive.

Our psychotherapy sessions focus on you actively participating in the process. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, body sensations and actions. We incorporate mindful breathwork into each session to help you learn and practice ways to calm the physiological hyper-arousal.

The first breakthrough comes when we recognize a common trap: we overestimate the likelihood / awfulness of adverse events. We also underestimate our ability to cope and past coping. This realization empowers us to craft a personalized plan encouraging you to challenge and test your anxious thoughts.

Our ultimate goal? It is to help you feel more at ease so that anxiety does not interfere with your active pursuit of the life and goals that are most meaningful to you.
